Come Fly with Us!We're looking to add a talented Tooling and Fixture Specialty Engineer to our team at our facility in Sandpoint, ID- DAHER Aircraft IncIn this role the individual will be part of a team which performs unique engineering tasks such as design, fabrication, implementation, and maintenance of aircraft production tooling.
This individual should understand steel, welding, CMM, inspection methods, ergonomics, assembly methods, and tool design.
In addition to design, they will be expected to support tool-setting and calibrations on existing aircraft production tooling.
They will review and evaluate new engineering designs and will directly represent engineering to the aircraft production floor, machine shop, Quality, Planning, Purchasing and Supply Chain departments.

Perform Root Cause Analysis Perform Risk Analysis Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Project Management experience Evaluate and disposition Tooling discrepancies and non-conformances Review inspection Reports Familiarity with FAR Part 23 Computer-Aided Design familiarity Experience with Siemens NX Knowledge of Inspection methods and CMM Knowledge of electrical systems Knowledge of OSHA rules Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control Knowledge of assembly methods Knowledge of ergonomic designs Knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, word) Knowledge of design analysis Join Daher to Integrate a family group with a long-term vision Make a difference in a developing company Develop new skills thanks to the diversity of your missions Take part in a human and industrial adventure full of challenges Innovate and think outside the box by integrating a stimulating environment Profile and other information related to the positionPosition Requirements:
